        Verdict

        The last two winners have been returned 40/1 and 100/1 but Mr Crystal started favourite when scoring in 2009 though that was on firm ground and he hasn't won on the Flat subsequently. Descaro had Riptide just behind over 2m2f here in October and there's very little between the pair this time though neither is particularly at home on soft ground. The former is normally ridden by Silvestre De Sousa but he's been booked for the Irish raider MUTISKA and the move can pay off. Still a maiden after 19 starts, she has no problems with the going and has come close to winning on enough occasions to suggest this should be her day. Mistoffelees arrives on the back of a claiming hurdle success at Doncaster and should give new connections a good run despite his big weight.
