It's hardly surprising that Rae Guest is turning out MIRZA so quickly after his victory at Newbury on Friday as he was well supported and comfortably beat a decent field. He was 3lb out of the handicap on that occasion so even with a 6lb penalty he looks well in and has the best of the draw. After a winning debut in 2010, Shropshire has generally performed at a high level but had slipped to a fair mark when reappearing and scoring at Kempton last month. With just a 3lb rise to contend with he must be a threat and Matthew Lawson's claim is a massive bonus though a high draw isn't. Parisian Pyramid last won in 2010 but has run some very good races and has only just started coming down the weights. He made a pleasing return at Musselburgh and should be kept on the right side. It's also a long time since Tajneed won a race but he's very well treated if anywhere near his best and Shirley Teasdale is very good value for her 7lb claim. The latter is one of four from Dandy Nicholls' yard and Kieren Fallon's presence on board Nasri is an eye-catcher while Clockmaker is on a fair mark on turf and is another to consider.
