Palmetto Point is a three-year-old on a roll and Hugh Morrison's charge gets our vote to complete his hat-trick; Personify, Malinsa Blue and Champain Sands make up the shortlist. The selection gets the handy weight-for-age allowance (in this race 4lbs) and he comes here on the back of a narrow all-weather success. He has gone up 6lb in the weights for that win but he shapes as if there is more improvement to come. Malinsa Blue and Tough Love both bring course and distance wins to the table and warrant respect, along with Hula Bullew although he needs to bounce back to form. Princess Lavinia is another who is better than his last run and may appreciate today's drop in trip, whilst Personify's recent third looks decent form in the context of this race. Champain Sands is another for consideration, however in an open handicap, it is Palmetto Point who gets our vote.
