This looks a good opportunity for PROMISE MAKER who is taken to get the better of Ragamuffin Man and Jackday. Tim Walford looks to have a couple of decent chances on the card and Promise Maker has shown improved form since being upped in trip. He still has relatively few miles on the clock and after a good win at Catterick earlier in the month he looks one to stay on the right of. Ragamuffin Man put in a decent effort at Thirsk last month but it is nearly two years since his sole career success and he is not one to place a great deal of faith in. Jackday is another that doesn't win very often, her sole success came over a year ago, and although she ran well last time at Ripon when second behind Unawatuna, she did seem a little reluctant to go past the winner when push came to shove. Trempari is another that won well last time and he is a through stayer who will certainly make it a test for the remainder. There should be more to come from Promise Maker who gets the vote.
