Reg Hollinshead won this race last year and he can land the event again with BILASH; the list of alternatives is headed by Key Art, Suranam and Citrus Star. The selection has only had the three runs and he will benefit from this drop back into maiden company after being outclassed in a conditions race last time out. The fact that he was put in that race in the first place could be seen as a positive, and it is interesting that he was also pitched into a good race on his debut. Key Art went close at Sandown last time when he chased home Bridge Valley but he disappointed on his previous try over this trip and his high draw is against him today. Suranam is an interesting newcomer who is certainly worth a market check, while Citrus Star finished in front of our selection last month and he has a decent draw, but at the forecast odds we are trying to seek out a bit of value with Bilash who is arguably better than he has shown on the racecourse so far.
