Halfwaytoparadise can finally get her nose in front in the fillies' maiden with the Barry Hill's trained duo, Lisfannon and Cordelia also shortlisted. The Michael Bell trained filly was placed on softish ground in all four starts last season and a reproduction of that form would see her go very close here. It is possible that she was not suited by the all-weather surface when trailing home sixth of six runners at Southwell last month and she is worth another chance now she returns to turf. Lisfannon is a 64,000 guineas daughter of Bahamian Bounty and would appear to be the stables number one on the basis of jockey bookings. She did not show much last season but Barry Hills sent out the winner of a Kempton maiden on Sunday and she is respected here. Cordelia is an unraced Green Desert filly who is sure to come on for this run but our choice is Halfwaytoparadise.
