        Verdict

        A poor seller gets proceedings underway and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Sad Times, Granny Peel and Flying Lion and the vote is given to Sad Times. The selection was a fair sixth behind Il Palio last time out not beaten to far. This looks easier and as he should cope with this softer surface he is taken to score. Flying Lion rates the main danger as he was a fair fifth on his debut behind Spoof Master. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement he will not be far away. Granny Peel is another that showed a modicum of ability on his debut when fifth behind Il Palio but she gave the impression she would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Africa Star is another from a yard in form but showed little on his debut and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Sad Times.
