Verdict

This could turn into a battle of the top-weights, with Myson just getting the verdict over Tarongo, Newick Park may do best of the remainder. The selection was a very easy winner here last time, beating Julies Boy by seven lengths. It is questionable what he beat on that occasion but he could only do what was asked of him. He does have to shoulder twelve stone three this afternoon but should be up the task. Tarongo also hit winning form last time comfortably beating The Staggery Boy over a slightly shorter trip here last time. Once again the form probably doesn't amount to much, but this opposition is of a similar standard. On a line through The Staggery Boy Newick Park has a bit to find with Tarongo, but should still do best of the others. So not the strongest of events and Myson can give weight and a beating to these rivals.
