In depth

Verdict

A race little better than plating class and BENAYOUN is our call with Dan Tucker and Leo Tolstoy the others of note. Although not living up to the richness of his breeding, Benayoun has been consistent in selling grade with a number of placed efforts during the last couple of months. Trip and ground hold few fears. Dan Tucker was once useful on the flat. Jim Best is a past master of gleaning improvement from others' castoffs so don't be surprised to see a market move. Jimmy Lambe's runners are always worth a second look so watch the market in relation to Leo Tolstoy. High Life has struggled in better grade and takes a welcome drop in class. Ruby Isabel is modest though represents a yard in form. Top Ticket was rated in the 70's on the level with David Simcock and he is now tried in first time visor by David Pipe. Heebie Jeebie looks best of the remainder. Not a race to be getting too heavily involved in so Benayoun is put up to the most minimal of stakes.
