Blueland has been a winner here in the past and Royal Prodigy is in some good form of late but the selection goes to PHOENIX HILL. The seven-year-old is fit from the all weather, and travelled nicely last time out this was easily his best effort to date as a hurdler. Consistency has never been his strong suit, but the gelding has obviously now found his level. The good to firm ground here should suit and should see him to victory. Closest rival to the selection should be Royal Prodigy who looks capable when on song but is not the most consistent. He should be suited by the ground here though as he was on his last visit, but he rarely runs two races alike. Blueland was pulled up here at the last time of asking. She has done well here in the past but is another who has proved to be rather unreliable. The mare is taking steps in the right direction though and should take well to the better ground. The rest have very little, if any good form to go on and a market check should reveal the clues. So for our selection we return to Pheonix Hill.
