Cusp and Rosoff have both been victorious here in the past, but our selection goes to SAFIN. Roger Curtis' gelding has been in good form over hurdles and on the Flat and looks set to take his first win over distance. The exposed nine-year-old has two wins to his name this year and looks capable of making it three in fairly modest company. His last two outings over the artificial surfaces could have been better but this return to the turf should prove beneficial and the going here should suit. Nine-year-old Cusp has course and distance wins to her name, the last of those was a distance win back in February. That was her first win since registering back-to-back wins over hurdles back in 2007 and was also her first success over fences since 2005. Her form over the two outings since has been questionable but the mares best form has come on slower ground and she should be there or thereabouts here. Rosoff is a pretty consistent sort and has run well in defeat in the four outings since his last win. The gelding's best form in this country has been over fences when cheek-pieces have been fitted, he has the headgear on again her today and that should see him at least making the frame. Market referral is advised for the rest so we can look no further than Safin for victory.
