Four-year-old TYRRELLS WOOD makes the selection here, ahead of Traveling Man and Quartz Du Montceau. The selection faced a very stiff task at Cheltenham last time out and performed well finishing eighth of the 18 runners. He has only been seen twice since scoring on his hurdling debut in September and was fit and well on his return. The gelding looks more than capable of snatching a victory here and he should be able to continue his yards run of good form. Linda Jewell's Traveling Man should appreciate the less demanding ground here and will be looking to build on his last three starts all of which were over this course. The little exposed seven-year-old has been progressing since returning to action after almost a year and a half away from the turf. The form of Quartz Du Montceau has been questionable, but he should prove best of the rest here. The gelding has pulled up on his last two outings and has yet to record a win in what has proven to be a rather inconsistent career so a market check is advised. This should prove to be somewhat of a two horse race and our selection is Tyrrells Wood.
