A very competitive handicap chase here and it is with course and distance winner LAHARNA we side ahead of Nesnaas and One For The Boys. The nine-year-old selection had been in superb form this year until a fall at Market Rasen in early March that will have been a knock to the gelding's confidence. He has had a run out since though, and though he was largely disappointing we tip him to recapture the form of earlier this year and return to winning ways here. He has a course and distance win here already this year and the ground should suit today. Nesnaas has been struggling with the handicapper for a while but was running off his last winning mark at Ludlow last time and still seemed to struggle. He finds himself on a mark below that of his last win and in such ordinary company should be thereabouts at the post. One For The Boys has made the money at the last two attempts and has shown glimmers of form this season. The gelding has a tendency to lose confidence with costly errors and tends to tire towards the last but the race here should be run to suit and the going is of preference to him so should mistakes be avoided he can make the frame. As is the norm with this type of race a market check is advised. Of the rest Silver Serg may fare well but he is returning from almost a year off the turf, so may be best watched so we stick with Laharna to pip the rest to the post.
