A number of these were scheduled to race on Sunday so this race could cut up from the original declarations thus KILTIMONEY is our call at the expense of Hobb's Dream and Portrait Royale. Admittedly a win record of one from 28 over chase fences is hardly likely to make you have the mortgage on but he seems to go well enough for Johnny Farrelly and had ran encouragingly for a long way before the better handicapped rivals went on. Hobb's Dream is certainly at the right end of the handicapper at the moment and despite going up 2lb for her placing at this track, the mare is sure to have her followers if showing up. Portrait Royale won a chase by 34 lengths earlier in the season at Plumpton and seems to be something of a standish dish at the track. Quartz du Montceau has a useful conditional booked though is another that struggles to win, RIngsend Rose was out of her depth at Warwick whilst Strolling Vagabond is just 1lb higher than his last winning mark. A plating event in all but name and with likely defections to factor, Kiltimoney looks the percentage call.
