BALLYQUIN BAY (NAP) sets the standard and is another good chance for the Elliott team. He's getting close to a first success over hurdles after four steadily improved efforts and this intermediate trip should suit the gelding admirably as he stays further, yet had sufficient pace to run a four-length third at Tramore over 2m on his penultimate start. Pointing winner, Iddergem, was only beaten a length and a half on his hurdling and stable debut for Olly Murphy and should appreciate the step-up in trip. He rates the threat. Sula Warrior, Dame Prestige and Carlotalin further bolster a strong Irish challenge and are preferred in that order with Brian Hughes booked for Sula Warrior, who hasn't gone too badly on her latest runs in Downpatrick maiden hurdles.
