Verdict

The old adages about the market vibes remains as pertinent as ever today and we'll take STRONG REBEL to take the finale at the expense of Tchang Goon and Solway Star. Strong Rebel was quickly bought out of the Irish pointing scene having demolished his field in a three mile point by a ready 10 lengths. A true run race would prove particularly beneficial under the circumstances. Tchang Goon's distant relatives include Classic winner, North Light. Another to win in Irish points, he makes a rules debut today. Solway Star puts tangible Perth form on the table with a keeping on third in July to his name. Barden Brook is related to a couple of two milers so don't be surprised if he shows well. He was arguably the pick of the Wade runners on jockey bookings. Spellchecker cut little ice on two starts at Musselburgh and is one to have reservations about. Claresburn hails from a yard that is not averse to having a tilt at the ring in races of this nature and Jacob Kocman's 10lb allowance will prove very useful under the circumstances. Tango Sally has come all the way from Wales to take part in this race so it'll be a long way to come for an abject failure. A race that is probably one to watch rather than punt but for the selection, we return to Strong Rebel.
