The shortlist here contains Kyle Of Lochalsh, Teme Valley, Brave Effect, Feanor and Another Deckie, with the vote going to Kyle Of Lochalsh. We are inclined to forgive Kyle Of Lochalsh's disappointing last run here, which came over a longer trip and, fresh from a subsequent Flat win, he is taken to put things right today. He certainly has enough ability to win, anyway. Well-weighted on his winning form of April 2004, Teme Valley has shown enough in his last two runs - over longer trips - to suggest that he could go well this afternoon, but Royal Glen might be vulnerable from a winning point of view from his revised mark, and Spree Vision needs to return to the form that saw him win over course and distance last year to play a prominent part. Winter Garden might lack for a bit of toe over hurdles these days, but Brave Effect is now back to a mark from which he proved himself competitive in April, so he gets a positive shout. Supply And Fix is another that seems weighted towards the top end of his achievements, and Nowator is one that holds solid claims if replicating his recent chasing form over hurdles. Finally, Feanor looks competitively weighted and can go well, while, despite his absence, the lightly-raced Another Deckie looked progressive when scoring at Musselburgh in February and, in good hands, he gets a big shout. Overall, though, we will give the selection, Kyle Of Lochalsh, another chance.
