All things being equal, Tandava and Brooklyn Brownie are the strongest options here, with the vote going to the former. Tandava has won his last two races, including once over course and distance. His Flat form tells us that faster going will not be a problem for him and he really ought to go well today. A Bangor handicap winner, Brooklyn Brownie has shown improved form in novice events in his last two races, form that gives him clear hopes of getting amongst the action today, and he is respected. Turning to the others and Poor Tactic's won a handicap here from a mark of 70 two runs ago but, much as he earns respect for that, he will need to build on that to play a prominent part here today. Penteli shaped with some promise last time and might yet build on it again but, in keeping with One Of Them and Noora's Legacy, also needs to show improved form to feature. You can't say that about Tandava and Brooklyn Brownie, with the former getting the nod.
