It might be worth chancing the unexposed Prince Namid in this modest contest, with Peopleton Brook and Special Gold appealing as the best of the rest. Conjecture is another that should not be underestimated, though. And he is one to monitor carefully in the betting. The former David Loder inmate won well on his debut for his new yard and has a fair chance of making the frame despite being on a 6lb higher mark. Special Gold has done very little wrong in his last three starts and will be a tough one to get past if he is in the same frame of mind today. He is on the same mark as when holding Angleofthenorth at Newcastle and rates as a solid option for each-way backers. Popleton Brook has a bit to find with Special Gold on what they have shown so far. But he is a fair performer at this level and should again run his race. However, Prince Namid is open to far more improvement than the rest and gets the nod here. It is worth bearing in mind that he only had a length to find with the 89-rated Out After Dark at Beverley last month, which is head and shoulders above anything achieved by the rest so far.
