Estepona deserves another handicap win, and with many of today's opposition unproven over this trip, Julie Camacho's gelding is taken to score again. This four-year-old was an impressive winner over this trip at Nottingham in May, and has been far from disgraced when second in his next two races over a slightly shorter trip at Beverley. Although he is now 13 pounds higher than that earlier win, he remains in good heart and should prove good enough here. Latif has some good form to its name but is an unlikely stayer, while Wizard Looking is in great form but has also shot up the weights and while he has form at this trip he probably wants further to show his best. York Cliff was four lengths clear of the third when second in a Windsor Classified Stakes last time and would certainly come into the reckoning on that form, but Estepona shows every sign that he continues to improve and he gets our vote here.
