Mick Easterby's Lake Chini has been in good form of late but there is a suspicion that, along with David Barron's By The Edge, he may now be a shade high in the weights and preference is for SELECT COMMITTEE. John Quinn's gelding deserves to win a race having been placed in each of his last four starts and, off what seems a fair mark still, he looks worth another chance today. James Given's Sands Crooner would have every chance if able to reproduce his Polytrack from on turf but he has yet to do so and looks best watched. Michael Wigham's Littledodayno struggled off his new mark despite his jockey weighing in light last time and looks best watched, while Tanley faces no easy task under his 6lb penalty for his win at Great Leighs last time. Mick Quinn's Dragon Flame has paid the penalty for his win at Yarmouth in April and will need to be spot on for his first outing since May to take a hand here. Several have chances in a poor contest but it is Select Committee that gets the vote.
