ASATEER has an official rating of 87 and may find this his easiest race to date; he may have most to fear from Mustakmil with Poyle Meg still a place potter¿s paradise. The selection was last seen at Chester in May when well-beaten behind the impressive Harbinger. The track may not have been ideal for him there and the feeling is that this now-gelded son of Alhaarth should be much happier on this more conventional track. Doctor Of Music will be qualified for handicaps after this run, a comment that also applies to Duke Of Urbino and Mustakmil. The latter may fare better this afternoon as the drop in trip looks like a good move at this stage of his career. Poyle Meg has a rating of 77 and a string of near misses to her name. She doesn't appear to do too much wrong but the cheek-pieces are on today and if the selection fails to fire she will be in the shakeup. Gearbox, a newcomer from the Richard Hannon yard, is related to lots of winners including over this trip and he would not need to be a superstar to win this, however it is Asateer who is given another chance.
