Such Optimism bounced back to form last time out at Goodwood however QUEEN ELEANOR looks to be getting the hang of things and she is narrowly preferred to Leceile. John Gosden's daughter of Cape Cross got off the mark at the sixth time of asking last month when she scraped home by a nose at Lingfield. With that confidence boost under her belt she looks sure to run well, although a 4lb higher mark looks harsh. Leceile was a Newcastle winner on similar ground last time out and she beat a fair yardstick in Stanstill. Considering her now has a mark of 90, she could potentially be very leniently treated on a mark of 78. The Last Alzao chases a four-timer following a profitable couple of months, Burza has been holding her form well of late but she is held by Stan's Cool Cat and Accede on their latest Newbury run. Punch Drunk has had some good opportunities of late but has failed to grasp them and she is now becoming frustrating; in comparison Gaselee lost little caste in defeat at Beverley last time and she is interesting despite a 7lb higher mark. An open race, but preference is for Queen Eleanor.
