      Verdict

REQUISITE can take the opener, while Bluebok and Silver Prelude are much respected. The selection has been in good form of late in making the frame at both Musselburgh and Hamilton from similar marks on turf, and the switch back to the Polytrack with a good enough draw here may well pay dividends. She has never won on this surface when tried at Lingfield previously, but she was racing from marks a fair bit higher than tonight's and she may well be up to the task. Bluebok is just 2lbs higher than when taking a similarly moderate Lingfield handicap last time and will not be far away again, although Milton Bradley's gelding has a poor draw to contend with and has never won here in five previous tries, making him opposable. Silver Prelude is another who has been well beaten in four of his previous tries at this venue and although he has won from higher marks in the past this looks a tough enough ask given his current ability. Garstang, on the other hand, acts well here, where he has won twice over course and distance this campaign. However, he has not been good enough to win from a mark similar to this for three years and he too can be taken on. Lethal may just have too much weight and Agnes Love needs to show a bit more improvement, so Requisite is the pick here.
