Barry Hills chooses this contest to reintroduce Meyyal to the racetrack, but we will take a chance on BAWADI to get the better of his colt, while Dimensional is another interesting newcomer. The last-named is trained by Amanda Perrett, who has been back among the winners this week, and is a nicely bred filly by Dansili and related to numerous winners over trips from a mile to today's 10 furlongs. There is no reason why she can't get heavily involved here and Ryan Moore is a good debut booking. Meyyal sees a racecourse for the first time since a good Doncaster debut last October and this half-brother to Mutamaasek will probably want every yard of this trip, but is very much respected on his comeback. Mathaaq was perhaps a little disappointing on debut but this surface may suit better, while Morning Dress will be better suited by this step up in trip and can show improvement. However the pick is Bawadi. The better overall form of Godolphin means we prefer this American-bred colt, who is also related to a number of winners across the pond on both turf and dirt, and is highly likely to be ready to do himself justice at the first time of asking.
