Bold Argument is a solid option in the opener with Kingsmaite another must for the short-list. Bold Argument won here on his penultimate start and had Kingsmaite back in third on that occasion with No Time and Russian Rocket further back. Bold Argument was a shade unlucky not to follow up at Bath last time but he looks capable of regaining the winning thread back at this venue. Kingsmaite was only a length and a half behind and they reoppose on the same terms once jockey's claims have been taken into account as Jimmy Fortune replaces a claimer. Sea Rover and No Time were due to race on Monday and big runs by them would bring them into the picture with both being of interest on the pick of their form. High Ridge is worth a second look as he's on a decent mark but he failed to win last year and isn't the force of old but Trinculo comes into the race on the back of a decent effort and could go well. The vote, though, goes the way of Bold Argument.
