Bookish, Coeur Courageux and Split The Wind make the shortlist for the Brighton opener, with Split The Wind the preference. Trainer Eve Johnson Houghton has a decent strike rate at the Sussex track, and the filly¿s got the advantage of being drawn in stall one. On Sunday she was a decent third here over 7 furlongs when she ran in plating company for the first time. Bookish and Coeur Courageux have higher ratings and should be involved; Bookish has a couple of wins to her name on the all weather and Kempton and Lingfield, and again has the benefit of a decent draw. Couer Courageux will be looking to come off the pace and although disappointing last time out over a mile, will have come on for that race. But Split The Wind is taken to continue her improvement and land the spoils.
