This has the makings of a decent maiden and Mrs Kipling couldn't be a confident selection but she is well regarded by her stable, Frankie rides and a big run looks to be on the cards. Her sire, Exceed and Excel, has made an excellent start with his first Northern Hemisphere crop, the dam is from a decent family and the yard have had a juvenile winner already this season. Black Attack ran really well on debut but that was on soft ground and it remains to be seen what the form is worth with the favourite disappointing. Kings Troop and Uramazin both looked in need of the experience on debut and should fare better whilst any number of the newcomers make some appeal on paper. The market should be as revealing as ever but Mrs Kipling may prove to be exceedingly good.
