In another competitive race, we will select Mynd ahead of Vague Star and Cashel Mead. Cashel Mead comes here on the back of a win at Kempton so at least is in good heart, while Vague Star's winning form of last summer entitles him to respect. Mynd ran well at Ripon last time and, having proven on a number of occasions that he can go well from around today's rating, he too is respected. Lady Algarhoud is not on a bad mark, we feel, but she might be better over six and seven furlongs, and Heavens Walk has left the impression that she is better than her bare form and, only lightly-raced, with a tongue-tie fitted for only the second time and Darryll Holland booked, well, you never know. No doubt you could build a case for a few more too, including Pro Tempore, and, with the general advice to watch the betting for clues, we return to the selection, which is Mynd.
