A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Spring Margot Derrintogher Yank and Another Raleagh and the tentative vote is given to Spring Margot. The selection won well last time out under similar conditions when beating Maximize, this shorter trip will suit him even more and if he puts in a fluent round of fencing he will be hard to beat. Derrintogher Yank rates the main danger on his latest second in a mens open race, he is another that will relish the ground and should be closely watched in the market. Another Raleagh is another worthy of respect as he won with plenty in hand when beating Sea Ferry. However this looks more competitive and as he does not look likely to get an easy lead he looks worth taking on. Juralan hails from a yard in form and could go well at a price but the suspicion is he is better over a longer trip. Of the remainder Old Kilminchy is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he may find one or two too good and with this in mind for the winner we return to Spring Margot who need only put in a clear round to score.
