Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and Un Jour A Vassy, Flying Instructor and Prince Sorinieres are all sure to have their supporters and we will stick with Un Jour A Vassy. The gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard is in fine form at present and a reproduction of his latest second behind Waterburg would make him hard to beat. Flying Instructor would win this easily at his best but he seem a shadow of his former self. However his sliding handicap mark reflects that. Prince Sorinieres is another that could go well but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him last time and he has yet to prove he stays this far. Of the remainder Take The Stand and Irbee are others with chances but they both can be slightly quirky and for that reason they are opposed in this very tight affair.
