Verdict

Lough Coi battled on bravely at Towcester last time to get his head in front but will obviously find Newton Abbot a very different proposition to the Northamptonshire venue, especially over this shorter trip. He's at least in good form though and should be involved but we'll take a chance with MOLESKIN. Victor Dartnall's charge gives the impression that he should have won far more often than he has but a level of ability remains and he should be all the better for a recent mid-division finish at Towcester. Old Tricks also has ability but finds winning hard. Friendly Society provided Noel Williams with a third training success last time out and should be involved despite his penalty, although he didn't look the most straightforward that day.
