Solarmaite was allowed his own way in front and sauntered home in a less competitive race here last week. Dropping back in trip under a penalty, he may find prolific course winner GENERAL TUFTO too good. The latter finished well ahead of Roger Thorpe when runner-up over track and trip last time and remains on the same mark for this. First Sargeant is another with claims off his current mark if handling the surface while McCool Bannanas fared well enough on his only previous start on Fibresand back in 2011. Shamiana looks best of the rest.
