Verdict

Morito Du Berlais has failed to build on bumper promise in two hurdling starts and now sports both tongue tie and cheekpieces. Rouquine Sauvage and Flight Commander both look types to improve with time but this may be fought out by two newcomers to hurdling. River Deep showed promise on all three bumper starts, including a battling Huntingdon success for Philip Hobbs, but SIDBURY HILL brings the best bumper form to the table including a four-length second to the high-class Josses Hill at Ascot last November. A solid third at Chepstow on his only subsequent outing last month should have put him spot-on for this introduction to timber.
