In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Forest Green, Joaaci and Tamango and the narrow nomination is given to the progressive Forest Green. The selection has won his last three races in good style notably when beating Salinas last time out. Granted this looks more competitive and he is rising in the weights but he again has conditions to suit and he looks a value bet in an open affair. Joachi rates the main danger on his latest second behind Always Waining but that was over a longer trip and the drop in distance has to be a concern, Tamango is another worthy of respect as he beat Tonic du Charmil last time out. However this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Nippy Des Mottes looks weighted up to his best. East Tycoon looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price if his jumping holds up but that is a big if while It Takes Time's best form is on softer ground and for the winner we return to the progressive Forest Green.
