Verdict

Lord Brock has done little wrong so far and can follow-up his Bangor win, with Rio San Vio and Treaty Stone rated his biggest dangers. The selection put his promising debut experience to good use when scoring fairly decisively at Bangor last time, and should make a bold bid to make it two on the bounce. Rio San Vio is obviously of interest from the Nicky Henderson stable but this pointer is pretty stoutly-bred and might be worth opposing, even though he is related to a good winner in Cloone River. Also of interest has to be the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Treaty Stone and, along with Reelinga and Alma Bay could be one to look out for in the betting. Much as Devon Blue showed promise when green on her debut, the form looks modest overall, which leads us back to Lord Brock, who can score again.
