This interesting affair can go to Nocksky ahead of, possibly, Uncle Mick and Tino. Much as the selection is now rated 11 pounds higher than for his course and distance selling chase win in April, he has performed creditably in three runner-up efforts since and, with there now being a bit of ease in the going, he might just be able to get his head in front in the hands of Tony McCoy. Uncle Mick is now racing from a four-pound lower mark than when scoring at Uttoxeter in September, so he has to be given a shout, as does Tino, who has won his last two races over course and distance, although all of his career wins have come on good or quicker going. In fairness, you could build case for each of the runners in the line-up so the selection is a far-from-confident choice, but he should run his usual solid race.
