Moayed is set gain compensation after his latest narrow defeat, with Pango, Uhoomagoo and Safsoof just three more with claims. This is yet another wide-open affair, but Moayed deserves to score after going down by the narrowest of margins to All Ivory here six days ago. That run showed that he has now returned to something like the form that saw him chase home Ifraaj in the Victoria Cup back in May, and as he cannot be re-assessed until Saturday, Nick Littmoden's charge can surely go one better. He had Pango back in third last week and meets him on favourable terms so should again have his measure, although anyone looking for a place-banker need search no further than the latter. Uhoomagoo has topweight but returns fresh after a break since July, and this tough sort, successful at Galway on his last appearance, will be doing all his best work at the finish. Safsoof is one of four three-year-olds in the line-up and is worth a mention after his narrow Newbury win over one of today's rivals King's Caprice, but he meets tough opposition here and may struggle a bit off his new mark. Moayed very much caught the eye last time though and is the one to beat.
