This looks a stronger race than the one that ROCKET ROB took at Sandown but that may not prevent him from going in again. Miss Chamanda, Hadaf and Sands Crooner are three more with possibilities. Simon Callaghan's gelding has gone from strength to strength this season and looks capable of coping with the handicapper's latest penalty. Of more concern is the way that the race will be run as he will need to find some cover from his high draw before hoping that the gaps appear. They didn't appear when he failed to overhaul Miss Chamanda at Windsor on his penultimate start and, as well as the filly ran, she could struggle to confirm the form even at these terms. Hadaf has more to prove but he has won over course and distance from this mark and it's interesting that connections persevere. Sands Crooner's mark has slipped down to a level that he should be capable of winning from soon with Mango Music another that's back to a realistic perch. Efistorm is running well but has been held by both Miss Chamanda and Discanti in recent starts so has his work cut out whilst Lenny Bee has been struggling to last home. Stolt has come down the weights and could also feature but we'll stick with Rocket Rob.
