Not the strongest of maidens on paper and KRONFUL may be good enough to win on debut; of those to have raced Saafia holds the strongest form. Michael Jarvis has a good record at the track (4 wins from 16 runners in recent seasons) and this daughter of Singspiel could enhance it further. She is out of Albahja who was fairly useful at up to a mile and a half at the age of three so this trip should certainly be within her reach at this stage of her career and if the market signs are positive then she should run well. Chat De Soie has improved with each start and her fifth at Folkestone when a 50/1 chance reads ok. Michevious Spirit looks a more interesting newcomer than Light Nights, however a bigger threat may come from Whirly Dancer who should be suited by the step up in trip following a less than spectacular debut at Nottingham. Saafia's recent sixth to Water Biscuit at Goodwood reads as the best piece of form in the race; she may find the quicker ground more in her favour today and despite a wide draw she is respected. An open affair, where we will chance our arm with Kronful; Seb Sanders has a one in three record for the yard in recent years to further enhance confidence.
