The consistent Hamish McGonagall is one for any placepot however he may be vulnerable once again to a stronger finisher and it is ROKER PARK who is fancied to bounce back to winning ways. Kevin Ryan's runner certainly doesn't have the best of draws today however he is adaptable in regards to tactics and he certainly sees out this trip well. His run behind Knot In Wood at York wasn't a disaster and on his mid-season beatings of Barney McGrew he looks to hold an upper hand on some of his rivals who finished behind that horse at York. One of those was Hamish McGonagall, whilst another was Peak District; both horses have plenty of pace and the hill may find them out here. The same applies to Masta Plasta who normally blasts out in front, so horses who come from just off the gallop such as Group Therapy or City Dancer may have the race run to suit. Fullandby tries the blinkers but the feeling is that he needs a very soft surface to be at his best, so a bigger threat may come from Spin Cycle who drops in class and Noble Storm who chases the hat-trick. Sohraab has had a busy period which his trainer has voiced concerns over, whilst Exceptional Art has been well-held on a quickish surface before and really needs softer ground. A chance for Roker Park to get back to winning ways.
