Wait Forever had Kuwait Currency well behind over a mile here three weeks ago but 1m2f on this stiff track may stretch the stamina of the Italian import. Desert Icon was staying on nicely over course and distance on his reappearance and should strip fitter today, though has crept up the weights without winning. William Haggas also runs DAL HORRISGLE and he has Cieren Fallon’s claim in his favour. He easily won his only previous start in a handicap and was taking on Group 3 company over longer trips later. Elwazir would have every chance on his second at Doncaster last September but is another who looks a few pounds too high.
