An interesting maiden here and Hesivorthedriver is given the nod over Take The Gold and Ancient Culture. The selection put up a good performance last time on heavy ground at Newbury and the form of that race has worked out well so far. He certainly saw out this trip then considering that he would have preferred conditions more like tonight's and so with that now in is favour he can improve and he looks good enough. Take The Gold is another certain to improve. Michael Jarvis's filly stayed on well to be runner up on debut here over 10f. The one slight doubt here is that her pedigree suggests that this might be beyond her levels of stamina, but it is certainly worth a try. Ancient Culture ran well in the context of this race when third of 11 at Pontefract over a mile-and-a-half last time and with Sir Michael Stoute having saddled two winners of this in the past nine years that had similar credentials then the colt is very much respected. Kwazulu has disappointed so far but first time blinkers may help, while Demisemiquaver probably wants faster ground and needs to improve anyhow, so we will stick with Heisivorthedriver to steer home in front.
