A really interesting handicap where Ask The Butler, Tazeez and Envisage are all leading players and the latter gets the vote. Envisage showed the stomach for a battle when winning over this trip on fast ground at Pontefract a couple of starts ago, but the ground was against him last time. Back on a fast surface and at a trip over which he is proven, he looks likely to be hard to beat from this mark. Ask The Butler is another fast ground distance winner who is now 8lb higher than when scoring here in May. He may well be better than his placing in a ladies' race last time suggests and he won't be far away. Tazeez is stepped up from a mile for the first time and also likes decent going. Very lightly raced thus far, John Gosden's gelding is one to take very seriously with plenty of improvement possible. Wind Star has frame claims but looks to have a bit too much weight for winning, while the same can be said of Bandama, who has his optimum conditions and trip. Even so, Envisage comes from a team in flying form and he can score here.
