Verdict

Rebel's Romance, the brilliant winner of last year's UAE Derby, returned to Meydan earlier this year but ran poorly in both starts so has questions to answer on his first-ever start on Turf. But William Buick has chosen him over Kemari, whom he rode to victory in the Queen's Vase last summer and in a Listed race at York earlier this month. However, he probably needs further on quick ground. Stowell was just under three lengths behind in the Queen's Vase but was unlucky in-running and could reverse the form but the vote goes to UNIVERSAL ORDER, who won this in 2020 and and was attempting to concede the winner 12lb when runner-up at Haydock.
