        Verdict

        Paddy Brunty showed early speed at Thirsk before weakening on the soft ground but SILENCER will surely take all the beating from stall one if showing the same dash as in last week’s Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot, where he only dropped out of contention close home. Danger Alert is from a yard that boasts an excellent strike-rate here with its juveniles and won this last year. He drops back to 5f after an opening run over 6f at Haydock and Franny Norton’s presence in the saddle is always a plus around here.
