There are plenty in with a shout in what looks a competitive finale and from a shortlist of INDIAN VIOLET, Echo Dancer, Fajita and Edgeworth we will side with Indian Violet. The selection ran a blinder on his handicap debut at Windsor last month when he chased home Hip Hip Hooray. There should be more to come from him as he remains unexposed and he looks the one they all have to beat. Fajita would have claims on his best form but he looks a little quirky and the form of the yard is a bit of a worry. Edgeworth has won over this course and distance so this drop in trip should suit, but his best form is on a faster surface. Echo Dancer chased home Uncle Brit last time but that form took a knock earlier in the week when Uncle Brit was a beaten favourite so the strength of the form is questionable. There should be more to come from Indian Violet who gets the vote.
