        Verdict

        After running green on his debut at Newbury in October, Sunset produced a much better effort at that track eight days ago. Air To Air hasn’t been disgraced in a couple of starts on the all-weather this year and was second at Redcar at the end of last season. Tacitus chased home an odds-on chance trained by Marcus Tregoning at Bath with the latter represented by Lingfield third Almoshahar here. BILHAYL was a very warm favourite on debut at Kempton but had to be switched around horses in the straight and couldn’t peg back the leaders. There’s a good chance he’s a lot better than that form suggests.
