Eversden has more to offer and can land the finale at the expense of Vegas Boys, Zambac and The Snatcher. Clive Cox has his team in great form, and may have another future money spinner in Eversden who came good at just the second time of asking when scoring at Sandown 11 days ago. He did well to overcome a low draw that day, and this step up to six furlongs for his nursery debut should not present a problem on breeding, in fact it will be very much in his favour. Vegas Boys landed a bit of a touch at Warwick the time before last and was unlucky to miss the break on his next start at Carlisle. With that in mind he did well to finish third, and any support in the ring should be noted. Zambac has won her last two races, including what looked a close-knit nursery at Epsom recently, and may not be badly treated at present, while The Snatcher has topweight to overcome but should not be ruled out on earlier form. For the winner though we return to Eversden.
