The three against the field in this opener are Spider Power, Carmenero and Bridal Path with the vote going to the last named. Trained by the in form Sir Mark Prescott Bridal Path comes here on the back of two wins at Chepstow and Musselburgh and a decent second to Zambach at Epsom last time out over this slightly longer trip. She looks an improving and progressive filly and only needs to produce her best to score here. Of her rivals top weight Carmenero could prove the biggest danger. The penny finally dropped for him at Bath last month and then he followed up with a decent run around the same track last time out. He looks to have found himself now but on a negative note he could have found himself one too good for him here. The Godolphin team have been in good form of late and Spider Power will have to be respected after a couple of close encounters but looks exposed on his level of ability and is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Bridal Path.
